Senior Engineer

Principal Accountabilities:

• Design and development of new product
• Engineering Testing
• Design test equipment or assembly equipment as needed for ECN projects
• Answer any customer technical phone calls and customer new part request and design/drawings
• Directs and coordinates rework of technicians; revise who assist in specific assignments
• Determines engineering approval of First Article parts and non-conforming material
• Works with customers and suppliers to identify problems and recommend solutions
• Applies standard engineering techniques, analysis, procedures and criteria in specific situations
• Reduces and correlates data
• Recognizes discrepancies in results
• Investigate problems, identify optimal solutions and make preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives

Required Skills:

• Demonstrate problem solving skills in a team development
• Knowledge of  principles and theories of the engineering profession
• Self starter
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access and the Internet.
• Excellent Solid Works skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline
• 2 years related experience is preferred
