It's Easter
Jeep Safari time again, probably the worlds largest off
road event of the year. This year marks the 40th year of
the event. My son, Brian and I rolled into town on
Monday night with the Trail-Gear Formula Toyota. After a
few post competition adjustments we took a quick run
through hells revenge to check out the rig. Then we
checked in to our Hotel and picked up some dinner on
Main street.
Each and
every year nearly the entire town rolls out the red
carpet for this, the mother of all off road events.
Checkout some the signs above that the wheelers have
come to town!
This is such
a big event, that for each of the last 4 years 4Wheel
Drive and Sport Utility prints a special Moab survival
guide edition of it's magazine. This guide includes
descriptions and locations off all the major trails
around Moab, Hotel lists, camping site lists, city
directory and driving tips for slick rock.
Tuesday we
headed out to the Primedia run at area BFE. Over 100
trucks divided into groups and hit some of the great
trails of Moab. We signed up for the Upper Helldorado
We will be
running the trails of Moab Tuesday through Thursday this
week and bringing you photos right here each evening.
