The highlakes is a pretty sweet place to wheel. You can get through with a mildly built rig as long as you know when enough is enough. I ran IFS and 33" Swampers with a locked rear fine during the summer. Was fun, but I did have to do one bypass and not attempt one area. A few of us on the Marlin board are trying to set up a Highlakes run in the snow real soon. Possibly the first weekend of March. I have SAS'd my truck runnign 38" Swampers and will have my dual 2.28 cases by then. Should be fun.
