chris i have not played around the bbs that much how do i post pictures?

This bbs does not support direct loading of photos. The photos must be loaded on another server. Once you have the photos on a server you copy the link to the photo. Paste you link into your reply with in front of the link and in back of the link.

When you post it will look something like this...

http://www.yoursite.com/yourphoto.jpg

For the future we are considering changing software to one that does allow direct uploading of photos. Doing it this way works but it's harder than other versions.

FYI, phpBB2 DOES allow user's to upload images. You just need to turn it on in the admin options. From the forum URL I'm guessing you're using phpBB2, but the copyright at the bottom makes it look like you're just using the old phpBB version 1???

We are running 2.0.18 I can turn on the ability to upload photos for avatars, but there is not an option for uploading photos. There are add-on programs that say they can add the ability to upload photos. I have tried using one of these modifications but it crashed the board and did not work. It's not supported so I had to reinstall the bbs and restore the data from a backup.

doh. your right Chris. i forgot that I was using the phpBB Plus mod pack on my old site. I didn't realize that image uploading was part of the mod pack, I thought it was included in the forum. Sorry about that. :oops:

We just switched to vBulletin though. definitly worth the small purchase cost.
