Early lift kit on an '88 4-Runner frame?

I'm looking to do a buggy style build up but my '83 frame is rusted out. I've found an '88 4-Runner donor for the project. Can I use the early style lift kit on this frame? Does the IFS box stay in the same location or do I replace the mount with the one in the kit?
Getting back into 'Yotas after about 15 year absence, LOTS to catch up on. TC

If you are going to just use the frame from the 88 runner you maybe able to use another kit. Just depends on how buggy that you want to go. Remember our kits are desinged for specific years based on the frame design. If you are going to have fender wells then it is best to go with the right kit.
