So I have a the triple drilled flange and a new deflector shield, I measured the ID of the deflector and the OD of the surface that it sits on the flange. The flange is almost 1 mm larger than the deflector, what I am worried about is the deflector just bending when I try to press it on. Is it supposted to be that tight of a fit? Thanks...

Yes, it is a light press fit. This is exactly the same as stock. You can use a large socket to press the shield onto the flange.
