Wiring EFI in an 80 Pickup

Going to swap in an early EFI motor, 85-88, on an 80 pickup.

Wanted to know wich way to go with the wiring harness.

Keep all the non engine stuff in place and splice in the engine stuff or replace everything with the new harness.

Need to get it passed a California smog ref.....

Unless you have schematics for both and are good at tracing/cutting/splicing, an entire harness swap would be best.

Hardest part of the swap is disassembling the dash.
