It is much easier to do it all at once.

You can expect it to take a full 8 hour day the first time you do it.

drviers side 1 1/2 hour teardown, pass side about 30 minutes, drivers side rebuild 2 hours, pass side rebuild 45 minutes. The drivers side was the learning side. lol. If your going to reuse your wheel bearing, be careful when removing your rotor and hub assy. it will fall out on the driveway. There is some good info on 4x4wire and pirate4x4 on rebuilds.

Not a difficult job. Make sure you have an exploded view of the hubs so you can put everything back together right. I highly sugest replacing all bearings and seals when you do this. Just a good idea since you have it all torn apart. If you are like me and have to clean everything while its coming apart then it may take a while. If you are just tearing into it and then putting it back together then its pretty quick. Deffinatly wait until you are ready to do gears and locker to do your rebuild kit. Make sure you pack the bearings real good with a high quality grease. What size tires are you running or planning to run? Do you have stock birfs?

really just depends on how much beer you drink while your doing it. It will take about a six pack to take the left side off... three more beers to take off the right... and so on. I suggest doing the 3rd before you crack open the first beer. reserve this prosses for sat. morning.

When you pull off the steering arms (top) and bearing cap (bottom) there are some very thin metal shims. Mark which go where, they have to go back on just as they came off.
