Axle gusset for rear axle

Chris, do you know if anyone has ever taken two of your front axle gussets and cut them shorter and placed them on the rear axle? Just wondering what it would look like. Seems like it would work alright since the axles are so similar.

or get a pipe a short one and cut the correct angles on the ends and weld it to the axle do it for both sides and drill a hole for the diff breather. and you got your self a cheap and good rear axle gusset. downey offroad sells this style for about $45 if your not fab sauvy.
