What is the distance from the inner tube and outer tube?

I'm trying to determine how far out the outer bar will extend, assuming the inner bar is directly beneath the rocker panel.

it's about 4"

The OD of the tubbing is 7 3/4 inches. Thats how wide the sliders are. So if you put them right up aginst the body of your truck, they would stick out that far. But you don't have to install them that way. If you have any questions give me a call. :D

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to install them so that they extend out somewhere close to the outside edge of the tire (12.50 tire on 8" wheel w/2.5" bs)
