Hey there.

I'm planning on picking up your Toyota histeer kit in the next couple of weeks. I just have a quik question? I'm going to be putting this on a Samurai with toy axles. Is this going to work i know the tie rod will fit since it regular toyota length but what about the drag link. Do you think i'd beable to get away with it with the draglink that comes in the kit?

I have the toy IFS steering box.

Sorry kind of a dumb question.

You’re going to need a custom drag link for your applications. We will need to take a couple of inches off the link.

What we can do is send you a kit without the drag link. Have you install it. Then with the steering wheel straight measure the distance between the hole in the pitman arm and the open hole in the right side steering arm.

Then we will cut it down, tap it and ship you the drag link.

Speaking of Hi-Steer.....
Is the factory IFS steering mount strong enough or should it be reinforced? I'll probably run 37" tires on an'88 4-Runner frame. TC

Reinforcing it is a good idea. I will be doing that to mine

Ok Chris

I'm ready, can you tell me what it's going to cost with tax and all for the complete kit? So i can get the money out of savings. :D

Will have to do what you said, and have you send everything but the drag link. then i'll measur and call you back.

If you drive it easy it should be ok for a couple of years. If you plan to run your truck hard we recommend plating the frame around the mount or replacing the mount all together.

For you, no tax, no shipping, no handling! We only charge tax for CA orders.

The kit price is just $369 and I am happy to personally make custom rods for any application.

Hey Chris I talked you about returning my pitman arm about a weekago. I'm just getting ready to send it. But i'm wanting to get some other parts. I need 2 sloped spring hangers and 2 shackle mounts. Can I trade the pitman arm for them or get credit towards them??

P.S. Are the spring hangers made for a 2.5" wide spring.
