SInce I won the front hangar kit from Trail gear, I thought it was fitting that I start my bnuild up thread here. I already have a thread on another site, but Trail Gear has been great to deal with and I have bought a LOT of items from them for this.
THe plan;
1. rebuild the axle. Tuss, and protection
2. clearance axle for E-locker.
3. regear to 5.29s.
4. SAS
5. In cab cage install
Here is the rig the way it looks now, This photo was taken last year in Tellico NC

This is my first attempt to set up gears. My buddy, Allan is a pro, and walked me through it....
That is where I am right now, I have the install kit on order for the E-locker and it should be here next week. I will finish that up and start the tear down in the next 2 weeks.
I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and will be back to work on this next week.

Yes I did it with a LOT of help from my friend Mike. Here is a link to the thread. http://www.yotatech.com/showthread.php?t=48077&highlight=mikeys+bumper
We made one for a pick up first and then mine was built. It is very strong, I have actually hit it so hard on rocks that one of the lights in it shattered. No damage to the bumper though.
The top is a Can-Back.
Thanks for the comments.

Just got back from vacation. Disneyworld was awesome! :D
When I got here, I had the U-bolt flip kit and V-6 install kit waiting for me!
Now to get busy on this project! I should have some more progress pics up later this week.

My Friend Mike owns the CAD drawings for the bumpers and hangars ( I drew them up and helped him out with mine). I'm sure he could make one for you, but it may be a while because he is in the middle of relocating. I'll see if I can get him to register on here and give you a timeline.

Also picked up some used wheels.
I didn't really like all the scratches on them so I blasted them and repainted them a semi-flat black. This will make it easier to repaint and cover chips up in the future. ( I hope)

I also have made a list of small items that I need and have them ordered. As soon as I get all items on my list I will start the cutting.

BTW I forgot to mention that the U-bolts on the rear axle are not on there permanently. They are all I had that night and al we were doing was a trial run to see how well everything went together.
I changed them the next day to the roundd ones!
