That is great news, you will not be sorry. I would start by visiting the formulatoy website at www.formulatoy.com. You should look through all of the build up threads to see all that they have to offer.
Are you planning on competing? This is a good first question.
I have to jam right now, but I will post up more of my thoughts later.
I won't lie to you, it is a major committment to start and actually finish the buggy. It will be a lot of hard work, but you can do it if your are truly committed.
Thanks,
Matt

How your build really depends on your budget. Typically they can be done for $8K-$12K. You can use any 79-95 truck. Fuel Injection is good but I think propane is power really works well in comp and on the trail.
Your budget will have a huge effect on the course. For instance, you can buy a spool locker for about $150. It will work but it's very hard to turn. A Detroit locker is about $500 and turns better. ARB's cost $734 each plus compressor and allow the best turning.
Your you planning to compete? Or is this for trail use?

Does it have to be an all tube frame on a toyota chassis? It seems thats what eeryone is doing but it doesnt say you have to in the rules?I would prefer to keep my cab. I was tinkering with the idea of entering this....

You must use a spec chassis. The chassis runs $1,000.
