i am lifting my truck 3 inches to 4 inches....do i need longer brake lines right away? can i get away with just lifting and not offroading until i get longer lines?

For the sake of safety we can only recommend that you have lines that do not limit the travel of the suspension.

I say you need them. If you cannot afford them right away, then wait to put the lift on until you have them.
brakes are important, its not worth risking youre life or someone elses life because you dont have the proper equipment.

typo for don't limit the suspension?
youll need longer lines. for a cheap fix buy some rear brake hoses and use them to extend you front ones.

Nissan 300ZX brake lines are longer and cheaper than the Toy rear line.
