Bumpers

Would like to see you guys build us Zook fellers some front bumpers that are not only useful, but also nice looking. If one can be built for a TJ, why not a Samurai?

Sure, do you have any suggestions as to what features you want on them?
(d-ring mounts, hi-lift, receiver, etc.)

Yesterday Geiger and I were talking about tube size and what would be best. It seems like there is a wide variety of tube sizes that go up to 3". We were thinking of 1.5" to 1.75" since the Sami is small and ou do not want to overpower the vehicle with a huge tube bumper that looks like it does not belong.

We are planning on incorporating D-ring, receiver, and a high lift mount. The bumper will also have body armor.

Any other input from you Sami guys would be greatly appreciated.

id like to see a variety of different stlys from channel to tube, maybe even a one with a knarley stinger in the front

post up pictures of other bumpers to compare and contrast against would probably be a start. I'll get a picture of mine soon that is custom. Clevis-rings, blinkers, stinger, lowpro receiver, tucked up tight with the samurai body, light mounts and made from 3/8" channel.

here is a picture of my bumper.

here is a picture after I added a hitch and attached my winch. the bumper was designed for a warn to fit. I ended up buying a ramsey.

As far as aftermarket bolt-ons go... Shrockworks has the best looking bumpers for the samurai. I haven't really seen anything that compares to theirs yet, but I would sure like to, even if it wasn't totally "bolt-on" :thumbs:

I would like to see a bumper that will allow a person to tie tubing to it.

ie: tube front clip .. kind of like how NC_Zuks was

also maybe incorperate a reciever hitch in it with a d-ring on each side. After Zuburban is done I will be building one and it will only be the width of the frame in the front.

If anyone sees any pics floating around of my old rig (FLETCH) it will be the same bumper.
