Jack here...not really all that new, but new enough...here it goes.

88 Single Cab 22RE

Engine
- RC Engineering (rebuilt injectors/flow tested)
- Hot tanked my Throttle body/Plenum EGR stuff (thinking about EGR block off plates in the future)
- Cold Air Intake
- Pacesetter Headers (probably switching to LC Engineering Headers and flow through cats
- FlowMaster Exhaust (40 series dumped)
- Throttle Body Coolant bypass

Front Suspension
- Sky’s Front SAS Hanger w/2” drop front
- All Pro 5” Springs
- 1” extended boomerang shackles
- 85 SFA Trussed, Knuckle Gussets, Knuckle Rebuild Kit, 88 IFS Hubs, FJ Rotors, IFS Calipers, Rock Rings, Backing Plate Eliminator, Diff Armor, Extended Braided break lines (all above parts from TG…I’m sure there’s more)
- TG Hy-steer
- 14” Bilstein 5150s w/14” shock hoops

Rear Suspension
- 63” Chevy Springs with overload
- Chevy Swap kit
- Custom Rear 2” drop hangers to level out the truck
- 14” Bilstein 5150s

Front and Rear Gears are currently 4.10s open, but I’m going with either 4.88’s with ARBs front and rear or 5.29’s with Detroits front and rear (still haven’t decided.) I have Diff Stud Eliminator kits for both the diffs

Tax Returning is buying me the following:
- Rims/Tires 15x10 Black Rock Crawler Rims covered in 37x12.50/15 MT/R (5 of them)
- LongFields
- Marlin’s MC07 (2.28 Crawl Box w/Adapter) Unless I can find a top shift in good condition…then I’m going with the TG Adapter.

By February 15th I’ll have the following:
- Sky’s Widening kit
- TG’s Longspline Front Drive shaft kit
- Dual Case Cross Member
- AllPro’s Flatbed Kit

By March I’ll have a JD3 Bender and enough Steel to build my Exo Hopefully. I already started a set of half doors, but I’m not buying sheet metal until March to finish them until it’s time to order the tubing…that way I’ll just have it delivered from ALCO all at one time. I’ll probably pick up some diamond plating at the same time.

My name is Matt im from the southeastern corner of New Mexico (near the carlsbad caverns)

I own an 85 xtra cab that originally had a 22re I bought the truck for $500 with no engine and also got a 4 runner that been rolled for free so I got the rear axle and the steering box out of it and junked the rest. I alreay owned a 88 GMC with a 4.3 V6 so I decided do swap it in hte yota with a 700R4 tranny and a transfercase out of an 88 runner all put together with advanced adapters tranny to transfer adapter and advanced adapters motor mounts and trasfer case relocation kit. Howell Engine Developments inc provided the needed wiring harness. I have already orderd and received TG 5" classic front lift with the HD 7 leaf springs and am about to order the 5" rear.

I plan on building a flat bed simillar to allpros design and intigrating an exocage into it I am going to run 4.88s with 35" iroks.

I will have pics of the build as soon as I figure out how to get them on here

I'm not new & I don't have alot of posts but here;s what I have.

87 4Runner SAS
stock engine
stock trans
stock t-csae
83 front axle with quick loc & 5.29's
87 rear axle open & 5.29's
35" BFG KM's
All Pro rear bumper
Marlin sliders
Marlin 14" shock hoops
Sky front hanger & dog leg shackles
rears up front with 2 top leafs & 3 bottom leafs from 6" Alcans
63" Chevy's with lowering shackle flipped as a lift shackle & drop shackles.
2" body lift
I just got done re-doing the front suspension & I think my 4Runner is too high so I'm thinking of lowering it by 3" or 4".

I also have an 89 truck that is all stock right now. I'm looking to sas it so I have been getting parts little by little. This will be the ultimate low budget truck. I want to build this as cheap as possible & as low as possible.
Parts I have got so far
Used Sky front hanger. Free
63" Chevy's. Free
Rear spring hanger custom built by me. Free (just my time)
