View Full Version : Moving Day Today
Well today is finally the day that I move into a new house. Lagen and I are moving into a decent sized house with a considerate amount of parking for all the trucks. 3 car garage, Gated side lot RV parking with room for about 3 maybe 4 trucks and can park 4 in the driveway. Who really cares about the size of the house (around 1900 sq ft) We looked for houses with one thing in mind...at least a 3 car garage and side lot. collectively (exculding daily driver vehicles) we have 4 toyotas, so this place is perfect for all the trucks.
So, if any of you want to come by to help move...i'll buy the beers. :help: Okay...i know that's not going to happen, so until I get moved in and Comcast installs the cable, I'll be without internet at the house until next Tuesday Evening. Either way...time to f**k up my elbow and freshly painted walls.

do break anything to important like the icechest.
we didn't break the ice chest...so far we've only managed to chip a corner of a wall, funny you mention ice chest, because that's what i hit the wall with.
almost done moving in. we still have tons of stuff to get, like today we're getting lagen's donor truck from his house and trailering it over here. ihave about 3 truck loads worth of garage stuff left, and tons and tons of misc items...i feel like i got hit by a bat in my back.
well time to get moving some more

hope you get it all moved before the rain tuesday.
it will be...this will be my last post until tuesday when the new place gets comcast
i finally got most of my stuff moved in, and the house is pretty much situated, but it's going to take a lot more to get this house as home-like as we would like it. the girls have their own living room, and luckily the garage is a lot taller than our old garage, so it is super easy to get the trucks in there. i'm happy to say that after we build our exo's, that they will fit in the garage no problem. anyhow, we just got the internet at the house yesterday, and looks like i'll be going back to work on thursday. anyhow, time to go clean the old house. later fellas

dont forget the rubber gloves
i used a half bottle of 409 on the bathroom...looks brand new. now if i could just figure out a way to get heated dust off flat paint in my old bedroom without painting, i'd be styling. I moved all the furniture out, and you can see where everything used to be. but it doesn't come off the walls with soap and water...i don't want to have to repaint.
side note, i installed the new wireless router last night and the computer froze up, so i'm going to try to trouble shoot that at lunch time so that i can set up the network tonight.
I also have to go to Lagen's old house and oil up the 84' put a front driveshaft on it, bolt down the flatbed, and strap it down to a trailer so that we can bring it to the house after work....so much work, so little time.

You need to outsource for labor. Try to get some foreign children who work for pennies on the dollar.....thats the American way....j/k. Just get some friends to do it for you for a six pack. I'll do it for a big mac or equivalent.
i would never ask anyone to clean up after me unless i was physically unable...furthermore i would never ask anyone to help me move because i wouldn't want to have to return the favor...i hate moving
