View Full Version : Suzuki Buggy Build
Back in the Fall I was on trail gear and i happend to spot the Build forum of Chris Geigers Samurai And i was so impressed:bow: with all that he had done that I wanted to give it a try myself. I already had a suzuki so all i needed was a lot of luck and some part to get it transformed into a trail ready vehicle.
Well this is the start of my Build I'll slowly try to get it all on here if anyone sees something that you think i alto change i am open for suggestions after all I'm still learing myself Im a newby so if it is a little lame well thats my excuse:thumbs:

we love pictures
Yes Coldrunner the pictures are on the way i lost a few of the inbetween picts of my frame but for the most part i have the beggining and the all of the to date stuff
I started my build with a Zuki that didnt have an engine or transmission ill post a few pictures of it coming up but what i had originally wanted to do is take the frame out from under the body and fit it with a home made coil spring set up this is how far i had made it with that idea when i had a change of plans  which lead me in a new directions from where i had started
Once i had realized that i was gonna have a little money tied up in this project i decided that i would go ahead and build myself a new frame that would be safer and do all that i wanted it to do so i got started by laying lout my planes on the floor now i lost quite a few pictures of the fram build but if i can round up any of the stray ones i have i will post them
sorry the picts are poor quallity and linked off these are from a cell camera
what type of life expectancy will my sammy axles have if im running 33 inch tires.
I plan on installing birfield rings in the front and lockright in the front and a fozzy in the rearends i have eliminated fender hanging and lessend the weight of the vehicle conciderably can anyone give me some info on this from first hand experience if i were to try a fozzy locker in the rear would it hold up to it i havent heard anyone complaining of breaking the rear or would i be better off to get a lock right from the start
