Trail-Gear wants to send out a great big thank you to everyone! Just like last year we are throwing down a summer blow out party for all our customers and friends. Friday starting around noon we will be hosting a free lFamous Dave's BBQ lunch for everyone that comes by our shop. We will also be conducting demonstrations of our Crusher and Torque Monster destructive testing machines. Later in the afternoon we will head up to trail and set up camp at Sandy Flats. Saturday morning we will split into groups and run the trails listed below.
Trail runs will include:
Red Lake
Coyote Lake
Brewer
Swap Lake
Dusy-Ershim (upper 1/2 of trail)
To sign up, please post a reply to this thread. Please include your name, rig info and the number of passengers you think you will be bringing. Our shop is located at 5356 E Pine Ave, Fresno CA. We are near the Fresno Airport.

who is leading the different runs??
Chris Geiger
08-08-2007, 01:12 PM
John Robertson is planning to do the upper 1/2 of the Dusy trail. Leaders for the other trails have not been chosen at this time. I'm thinking that people can come on out and check out the trails Friday evening and we can all talk about the different trails in camp. Then Saturday morning everyone can pick what trail they want to run.

I think that depends on how late we stay up the night before! I'd guess that we will have camp packed up and everyone will be ready to go somewhere between 8-9 am.

I will be leading runs on Sunday also, I don't plan on getting out of there until Sunday evening. The Dusy run I will lead on Sat. morning will be to back by Saturday night for Dinner.
There are so many cool trails up in that area that we will lead many different runs through out the weekend. The fishing will be great and we will have a central camp the whole weekend.
I will have my wife and children there so please feel free to bring your family out it will be good times for all.

John, do you have a plan for how far into the trail you want to make it from Kiaser, or are you just playing it by ear and turning back at a certain time.

Will there be a place to park tow rigs at or near base camp. My POS does not like to drive on asphalt any longer!!!!!!!
Chris Geiger
08-21-2007, 05:19 PM
Yes, there is plenty of parking for tow rigs. I think most of the drivers will be towing there rigs. I just received a fix it ticket last weekend going up the there. The highway patrol made it clear that if he every saw my truck on "his" highway that he would impound it.
Anything not street legal should be towed up the hill. If you drive it on the street you really need mud flaps installed before getting back on the road.

There's a 99% chance that I can make it, as long as I'm off in time to head down on Friday night. Bob Rouch, 1 passenger (maybe the old lady), 81 Toyota Rigged by Locktup.
