hey texx i searched rock4xfabrication and could only find toyota/suzuki adapters, was you adapter custom, what did it run you and whats used inside connecting the two shafts. Iwas going to take the female shaft and cut it off the sidekick drive line then weld it to a samurai flange and bolt the 2 together but id prefer to eliminate the divorced setup

It is a custom build. He does 10 at a time. He doesn't have it posted on his web page. You have to call Scott the owner of Rock4XFabrication. You will need to get a Kick or Tracker trany-t-case married setup. The t-case will be shipped to Rock4Xfab so he can build it. $675.00 and then shipping. It becomes a complete married application to the stock t-case that stays in the stock position as you can see in the pic. I'm also using the Trail Gear t-case mounts so it will be a solid setup. I hope everything works out good, I will let yall know.

This was not an easy task. Scott @ Rock4x was correst about using a sissor jack to open up the trany tunel for the kick trany to fit. The hardest thing about this install is how heavy it is. I'm saying the easiest way I could see to install is to start by installing the kick t-case and the Samurai t-case as one and push it as far back as possible to allow you enough room to put in the kick trany.
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8d730b3127ccec543b4fb52c000000040O08AYsmLJs1auQ e3nw0/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D480/ry%3D320/
This is the amount of space I had between my trany and t-case when I got the trany in and then I was ready to pull the duel case setup forwasr to adapt to the kick trany.
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8d730b3127ccec542205cf35100000040O08AYsmLJs1auQ e3nw0/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D480/ry%3D320/

The front part of the seat rail has to come out to make the hole for the kick t-case shifter

This is where I drilled my new hole for the seat rail to be supported. Everything in front of that hole will be cut off.
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8d730b3127ccec542a08ef3c300000040O08AYsmLJs1auQ e3nw0/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D480/ry%3D320/

I'm sure you could but that would seem to be more of a headake than it would to just have Scatt build it and you would have someone to back their work. Call him and ask.
This is a link to someone who built their own. Yes it is something that can be done but I don't have access to all the machinery that he has.
