Hey guys.

I am looking at putting a front and rear 3-link in my cruiser ute. I am going to use a x-link at the front (which the guys over here in oz have found works awesome), but I also want to run a 3 link with x-link in the rear does anyone have any suggestions as to why it will not work?

here are a couple of photos of a x-link in the front

I see no reason why it would not work also.

The thing is that both the front and rear will move around more than if using leafs.
will be like driving a range r#v%r for a while but i will get used to it.

just need to find some big flex bushes.

haha my options are as follows......
Go with a triangulated 4-link.

Make a 'true' 3-link.

And I must say that I most likely go with the 'true' 3-link, something of the TG design, except use .500" wall instead of the recomended .250" wall 2" pipe and also make the upper and lower links longer.

(and as per another thread I threw up) I will most likely go with Fox 2.5" Air-shox.

Hey
Its been done in the rear.
Your from aust right optimus?
Do you know that overkill eng put this in the front of a brand new lux's we get here? I see that lux all the time and i was driving behind it the other week and it has the X link in the rear too now. Looked good was pretty flexy hitting corners at 60-70k leaning over a little. Just do it!

Oh and you do still need to run a panhard.
