hi, i have installed a set of 4-3" lift tg springs on my zook. my front is way higher than the back. i have 1/2 lift shackles on the back and stock shackles on front. i am wondering if i have them on backwards. i do have the front on the front and the rear on the rear, not what i mean. all the lettering on the springs is reading from the same side and the "millitary wrap" is toward the front of both sets. anyone know if this is correct??? i am considering removing a leaf to settle the front down and help with flex. has anyone tried this and which leaf should i remove? would i need some type of tri link for antiwrap. i have an antiwrap device on the rear and it works great. i do not drive on the roads a lot but some. it is a spring over lift and i pound it on the trails. thanks for any ideas!!

Most of the time the military wrap is in the front unless your center pin on the spring is off center and people will turn them opposite to get a bit more lenght in the wheel base. I'm under the impresion that you bought 4 of the same springs. Have you put the spings from the front to the back to see if it makes a difference? You can get more flex by taking out the 2 lower leafs but those springs are built to flex in that pack the way it is. If you remoce the leafs your gona get a considerable amount of wrap. You could always put a block in the rear but wouldn't go any bigger than 2". Do you have any pics?

thanks texcrawler, yes i have the 3" lift springs all around. rear in rear and front in front. they are marked f and r makes that part easy. lol the lifted springs droop great but dont stuff so good,, wants to roll me over,,lol.
afrter i bought them i read someplace that flat springs are better for flexing. i have heard of that reverse shackle set up, and the flex shackle. it seems like either would bring the front up more. how is that set up working for you??? you like it?? i really dont want to go higher,,,the rolling issue, drive shaft length, streering, pinion angle,, all are maxed out now. i was thinking just take out 1 leaf, the thick one on the bottom or a longer one. do you have any pics of that reverse shackle set up?? far as the flex shackle, they say shouldnt drive it on the road. i heard the best leaf set ups for zooks is yj srings and relocate spring hangers. this also will move front axle forward. i just hate to have to redo my suspention again. live and learn. lol

This is my latest build

Some people are sceptical of any SR, but the way I built mine it holds up geat and I can hold 70-80 MPH on the road as if it was still on stock suspension only a smoother ride.

Depending on how new they are they may need to be broken in. Take out a leaf or 2 to see what it dose. It can't realy hurt anything. Live & learn.

with 1 leaf removed

i took out second from bottom leaf. body lines seem even relative to the tires now. seems to help with the bump steer, and doesnt pull wheelie as much climbing hills. gained 2" of travel in the shocks. cant wait to go to the badlands next month and test it out with the jeep club.

thanks texxcrawler,,,if i start getting axle wrap bad, i'll just stick the leaf back in
