In order to increase our in house production capability we are in the process of reorganizing our facility. We recently hired Josh Porter who will be working as a full time quality control tech. We also are purchasing a number of pieces of new equipment to aid in production and development.

Below are photos of our new wet saw and parts cleaner. Matt likes his coffee strong and thus his mugs are badly stained. If this new parts cleaner can clean that industrial mess, just imagine how good it will make rebuilt transfer case housings look!

I'll be posting more photos in this thread as our new production equipment arrives.

Nice equipment! During school the machine shop I worked for had a really nice HEM saw with bar feeding vices. Then Veriflo had one too while I was there. I know they're really spendy but they are great saws

I always hated changing the coolant. THere's not much that smells worse than rotten coolant in a machine shop :hammer:

Nice looking engine lathe and I like that tool post!

There was a drill like that in the machining class I took with flood coolant and power feed. It was messy but it was a great drill press

How did you move that 8000lb monster with a 5000lb forklift? :no2: :D

Eight of the shop guys were hanging off the back of the forklift serving as ballast to keep the wheels on the ground. I wish I had got a picture of it but it was over and moved before I could get the camera.

it's probably better that way... wouldn't want OSHA seeing that :D

one of my old jobs we would put a pallet on the forks and lift a guy up to change the exterior building lights. We always wondered what would happen if an osha person drove by while we were doing that :eek2:

The latest addition to our shop is a Torchmate CNC plasma table. With the capacity to handle 5' X 10' sheets of metal up to 1.5" think. It can turn plate steel into parts faster than you can say Rumpelstiltskin!

Torchmate has just updated the design and this table features their all new servo motor head control for even better cutting precision. Even small parts come out looking great.

We will be using this great new tool for both production and prototyping. This is going to help us bring lots more great new stuff to market and take us less time to do it.
