T/G 6.5:1 gears question

I recently completed the install of T/G's 6.5:1 gears and I understand that after the 1st 1000 miles I need to drain the old gear oil and install new gear oil. My quastion is........can I use a good gear oil for this 1st 1000 miles and then go with a synthetic after that or should I use synthetic gear oil all the way?

Sure, you can use dino oil for the first 1000 miles. Switching to the synthetic will help with the long term life of the bearings and gears.
