Entry Level Technical Writer

Primary duties include writing and creating product instructions and technical descriptions. Applicant should have a working knowledge of Toyota off road products and be comfortable writing with Microsoft word. Other duties include basic video documentation and data entry. Full or part time, 20 - 40 hours per week.

This actually sounds like fun (even for work)! I am currently working for a new auto-related website, writing mostly and working on projects. My friend's oldest brother started this place and I came here when I was laid off my last job. Before coming here I was working as a quality engineer and helped with writing work instructions, quality alerts, corrective actions, etc. Writing work instructions was an interesting challenge because our company was going for lean and trying to incorporate more error proofing into the process (more pictures, less words, better fixturing).

It's too bad I don't live closer :(

Is this position filled? would you consider part time only? would the person be working directly with techs who are doing the work?
