Default Forward shift twin stick - shifters not clearing

Hey guys.

This is my first post here.

I just picked up the TG twin stick. I started to tear out my t/case and in the middle of it I test fit the new shifter.

The tranny shifter and t-case shifters are all over each other. If either t-case shifter is in the forward position, my tranny shifter will knock them out of gear when I drop into 2nd, 4th, and R.

Just wanted to see if this is the norm and I need to mod the shifters or if I've got something else going on.

enlighten me w/ info if you can plz!!

You can install the forward shifter backwards for additional clearance. Just make sure that it doesnt interfere with the Trans shifter.

I ended up getting a new T-Case shifter from TG.

i cut and modified my trans shifter. my 4.7 stick still hits 2nd when in low but if i take the twin stifters off and cut the 4.7 stick down i dont think it will hit anymore, im just lazy and take the knob off for now.

45*...........wow.

I was thinkin to take out about a 20* wedge close to the bottom. Maybe you did yours a little higher.

So do all the forward shift twins need to be modified??

And if so, does this void warranty???

Thanks for the replies.

Ok, I just saw your pic and I think we are talking about different kinds of shifters. I'm not dual cases. Just the Twin Stick shifter. My stock T-case shifter out and a split (2 sticks) shifter in.
