Default wedge?

i have a 88 toyota pickup lifted 6inch
how come i have to run a wedge under the front leafsprings? if i take out the wedge the drive shaft binds..

most likely because the drice shaft angle, you probly need to have a custom drive shaft made

Invest into a high pinion diff with that much lift.

ok. but wouldnt i need to change the pinoin angle to get rid of the wedge?

ok thanks. ill look into that.
so if i run the 5in TG springs then i should be ok?

Yes but I think you still have to clear the CV joint assembly. Also these springs will settle and 1" I think but you cannot go wrong with a high pinion.
