Default Well here is my purple tayota.

Well i am new to the forms and to the toyota world.
So here is my 1988 toyota. It has a 6inch lift and 35's. Has the 3.0 V6.
I traded a 91 VW GTI for this thing straight across..
i think i have alot of work ahead of me to get this thing on the road or Trail.
So far the rear end housing is cracked around the leaf spring perch.
the motor runs like crap. and i have a budget of like nothin.. lol
Im glad i work at a junkyard.. FREE PARTS!!

If u loook REALLY close u can see the crack. and it pretty much goes all the way around the axle. The funny thing is the guy drove it to my house from about 30 miles away..

So i hope to order a SAS from soon but first i got alot of crap to replace.. hope to have more pics soon..

ive found that the real needy parts are hard to come by from a yard... since some companys buy them to build them up... curious to see how your build comes around.. props to all yoda builders

Well today i put in the newish rear axle.. and man was that rear end messed up.
Pull out the old one was.. well lets say im glad my buddy owned a auto shop.
Well here are the photo's of today's work.

Got everything torn apart.

Newish rear end and old dirty one that came out of it.

Ok on these two next pics is of the bolt that came out of the Right Rear leaf spring. it was the bolt that hold it together. the Stud or what ever u wanna call it. But ya this Bolt is spouse to be Straight.

On this pic i guess this is how u add on chrome Tube steps to your truck??
Welding them on?? LOL wow....

Well newish Rear end installed and so far so good. Everything is way Tighter and drives so much better.. Well next is the front end.

Ok well here is a little update.. i was thinking about starting a new form or just leaving it in here.. but here are pics and whats going on..
Ok so i just traded my purple yota for this one.. yesterday. Straight across trade. i think i upgraded a little..

its a 1984 toyota pickup. its has the 22R in it. needs a little tuning but not bad. has 4:10 gears in it which is killing the little motor.. lol time to upgrade to 5.29s
all the black is spray on bed liner even the hood. lol
but she has 10inch lift. 6inch syspenion and 3inch body. for tires it has 36/14.50R16 so yea that's it and updates soon. Thanks for Looking
