Default Toy 80s high steer

First, Congrats for your web site. Nice design, good pictures and tech info.

I'm planned to convert my steer system. I have a Hilux double cab LEFT DRIVE, means: Non IFS, boomerang steer, 4.88 RP, F and R leaf spring. Is a mix of your 80s and 90s pickups, Runners etcc....but run great and is my love

I saw your products. and my question is if I could to use a "righ drive" steer power box in left drive to this convesion and if I could the original tie rod and only use your knuckle arms, tie rod end and drag link

Thanks i advance for your support

Regards

GabrielSov

The tie rod that comes with the kit is .250 thick and 1.25 in diameter unlike the thin stock one that is constructed of tin foil. The fj-80 joints are a decent step up in strength as well. I'd get the complete kit given it would cost the same or less to buy the complete kit versus just individual parts.

2 x Rod End FJ-80 Right Thread, $20 each
2 x Rod End FJ-80 Left Thread, $20 each
Drag Link, $59 each
Standard Pitman Arm, $69 each
High Steer Arms, 4 Stud, $129 pair

Total Cost : 337

High Steer Kit, 4 Stud, $299

As for the right drive box, on a left drive vehicle... I don't think that would work since the box would have to mounted inside the frame rail.
